My woodworking experience began more than 30 years ago, back
in high school. I haven't always made "woodenware,"
but I have always made my living working with wood. This website
is the result of my 30 plus years journey.
For a number of years now, my wooden spoons, wooden spatulas,
and wooden salad utensils have been sold in Artisan Galleries,
Farmers Markets and Art festivals around the Pacific Northwest.
Travelers to these places have often asked how to find more of
my work for family and friends. Thus, this website was created.
I work primarlily with seven woods:
peach, pear, black walnut, madrone, cherry, myrtlewood,
and maple. All of the woods I use are medium density, close grained,
domestic hardwoods - great for making wooden spoons and other
wooden utensils.
My little company is basically a one-man operation, with my wife
in charge of the shipping. I hand craft everything available here
myself. If you need to call or email with questions, it will be
me you hear from. There are no "Operators standing by."
I don't typically warehouse a large inventory. The woodenware
is usually made when ordered, so you could say your order will
be custom made with you in mind. Most orders are on their way
to you in 2 weeks or less.
I love to hear from my customers - e-mail
is the best way to reach me. I'm always happy to answer questions
you may have before ordering.
Thanks for stopping by!
